Character Development

This is my character page for the raven character
he is a little boy who is thrown into this adventure and must gain new abilities in order to retrieve the light of the universe.

This is the great eagle. There is so much more I want to add/ change with this one to help show the Northwest coast Native American spirituality in it.

This is just to show size comparisons of each character.
This is a scene when my character, the raven, comes up to a waterfall and inside of the waterfall is another part of light he must collect to bring back light to the world. Legend says that many years ago it was stolen by the great eagle and there was a fight between the raven and the great eagle. Unfortunately raven lost and eagle was able to steal light away. A longtime after this story has happened raven has been reincarnated with the humans to finish what happened those many years ago.
This is a continuation of my project for my BFA class. Designing and creating your own indie game based off of the prompt you are given. I was given the Northwest coast Native American legend, Raven Stole the Sun.

This is the logo I designed for it. Sagalie in Chinook means of the spirit world. That is the feeling I wanted the player to get while playing and discovering the world I created.

(there is a problem right now that I am trying to fix with this photo of the logo. When it is enlarged the red detail in the middle of the words becomes blurry. All of the lines are supposed to be crisp. I am fixing this, this is a temporary stand in for now,)

Indie games

I am in my final year at San Jose state! This is the first piece I have done for concept art for an indie game that we individually develop from idea/concepts to game mechanics to environments and characters.
My prompt was based off of the Alaskan Northwest coast Native American legend Raven Stole the Sun.
This is a quick moment piece. The small village surrounded by darkness. Huddled close to the fire because this is the only light source. Years ago the great eagle stole the light of the universe.

I'm still working on more thumbnails and there are still more things I want to do so there will be more to come.

This was my character design I did for my visual development class. It was to make a character for a push cart from a certain area, I got Germany. I am fixing up the push-cart, but this is the character for it. The idea I had for it was a red tail deer who sold the best German sweets around. His bells jingle wherever he goes so the children know when he is near.

This is a study of a telephone or electric pole near ,y old apartment. It was an assignment from my intermediate visual development class 117A. The idea was to paint something with a lot of texture. So you can learn how to create a pattern of the detail from something with a lot of confusing texture on it. Also to see the wear of an everyday object. A study of detail and observation.

Some of my friends organized a gallery for charity. The galleries theme was pokemon, gotta catch em' all! We were randomly assigned a pokemon and then we got to do whatever we wanted for them as long as it was pg rated and 7x7.
This is my take on Tauros!
